Covid 19 Health and Safety Policy for the current traffic light framework.
As you will see with the image I have provided I am following the framework that has been put out to hairdressers by the Hairdressing assocation.
Traffic lights and vaccine passes:
I respect that everyone has the right to choose in the same way I have the right to choose how I run my business. The current guidelines for a close contact business mean that in order to be open for business under orange and red, I need to ensure that all clients are fully vaccinated and can provide their vaccine pass upon arival for their appointment. Hence I am choosing to work with vaccine passes so that i can remain operating for the majority of my customers.
My decision was not made lightly and it also factors in the fact that with my wig work that I am protecting my immune supressed clients whom are going through cancer treatments. In my heart I want to do everything I can to protect them in their journey back to health.
To those whom aren't vaccinated, I will miss you in the salon during this time. I can still provide you contactless purchasing of products via my website (available soon) or you can contact me directly via phone or email to make a contactless order and you will be able to attend face to face appointments under the green light.
Magazines, masks, drinks etc
I will be following the framework from the hairdressing assocation with once small exception. I will not br bringing back magazines for now. Unfourtinately logistically its not practial to try and clean them between clients.
You will find the infographic for this framework on this page. Should it all change I will post a new graphic.
We require all clients and staff to be completely well. There will be zero tolerance here. If I or anyone in my house feels the slightest bit unwell I will be rescheduling clients and getting tested. We require you to do the same. If you have someone self isolating in your home we ask you to isolate as well.
Covid-19 Symptoms include but are not limited to:
a high temperature of at least 38°C
shortness of breath
sneezing and runny nose
temporary loss of smell.
If you or anyone in your home has any of these you must cancel your appointment and rebook again when you are well. Please make sure you get tested if required and get the all clear before booking your next appointment if you have been sick. Thank you for your cooperation.
