PU / Skin Base (Poly)

This is the ultra-thin “skin” style base.

• Those comfortable with glue application

Important to know:
The thinner the skin base, the more natural it looks — but the more delicate it becomes. Ultra-thin bases require gentler handling and consistent maintenance.

Lace Front (With PU Perimeter)

A lace front system uses lace only at the very front hairline area to create an extremely natural, undetectable finish.

From temple to temple and around the back, the base is typically PU (poly). This gives you the security and ease of attachment of a skin edge, while keeping the most visible area ultra-natural.

Important to know:
The lace section at the front is delicate. Aggressive tape removal or scraping adhesive can damage lace more quickly than PU. Gentle removal technique is essential.

How Long Does A Custom Hair System Last?

Industry guidance suggests most quality hair systems typically last around 3–6 months, and in some cases up to around 12 months, depending on base type and care routine.

• How gently you remove adhesive matters

Pre-Made Skin Systems (Poly / PU Base)

Pre-made systems are factory-produced in standard base sizes but can still offer a natural result when professionally cut and fitted.
