This is the finishing step that completes the Extreme Length system and honestly it's such a simple but important one. Apply it to damp mid-lengths and ends before your blowdry — and here's why that timing matters: wet hair is actually at its most fragile and vulnerable state, so sealing and protecting the ends before any heat touches them is really smart hair care, especially when you're trying to grow and retain length. Think of it as a lightweight protective shield for the parts of your hair that need it most. I'd also recommend that if you're following your blowdry with tongs or straightening irons, layer a dedicated heat protection spray over the top — something like the Redken Thermal Protection Spray. The leave-in sealer is doing its job through the blowdry, but for additional styling heat on hair you're actively trying to grow, that extra layer of protection is worth it.
